Help us reach Muslim women with the gospel. Each week in the Midlands a group of women meet over chai and craft and a bible story is shared. Over paints, glue, and sweet treats life stories are told, prayers offered, deep discussions about Jesus take place, and Luke’s gospel is gifted. There is a culture of prayer within the group and prayer is offered to the women each week.
Funds raised will primarily be used for weekly running costs, if sufficient funds are raised we will be able to run day trips during school holidays. Past day trips have provided wonderful opportunities to solidify friendships and community within the group, providing a foundation for discipleship as women share openly about their lives for example in a recent trip one lady shared about her bereavement journey and was able to receive support for this.
The weekly group meets in one of the most socio-economically deprived areas of its city, ladies in this area of the city often have experiences poverty, additional learning needs, and mental health challenges. For some, the day trips we offer are a rare chance for them to explore outside of their suburb.
A gift of £40 could cover one week of running costs for this group. A gift of £75 could pay for a trip to town to visit a gallery or museum. £200 could pay for a day trip to a national trust building £350 could fund a coach trip for the entire group.
The target amount on this fundraising page is for total funds we seek to raise by 31st March 2025. If this project becomes fully funded ReachAcross will use the donations raised where needed most.
