ReachAcross is holding an international conference in Germany in June 2012. Many of the delegates will have children attending with them. We are looking for at least one person to help look after these children during the main sessions so that the parents can be fully involved in the conference. This will be a real service to our overseas workers who will have travelled from as far as West Africa or the Middle East in order to be there! Experience with Children's work would be an advantage. This is a voluntary opportunity but room and board and daytrip expenses will be provided. Would especially suit Bible College students - lots of energy required!
We have had a request from two Baptist pastors for help with Holiday Clubs in the summer of 2012.
Please contact us if interested. This could form part of a Block Placement or Ministry Placement for Bible College students if required.
Primary school teachers are needed to teach various subjects to a small number of western children in the Arabian Peninsula. These are children of our overseas staff. Immediate openings but essential to have new teachers arriving in 2012. Minimum one year service preferred.
Salary: Support from Church/Friends/Family. Small stipend available.
ReachAcross has immediate openings for managers, administrators and English Language teachers (TEFL) to join our team in a well-established English Language School located on the Arabian Peninsula. Hundreds of adult students use this facility each year and successful applicants would have daily contact with these local students. These positions are generally longer term, being at least a year's service.
Salary: Support from Church/Friends/Family. Small stipend available for TEFL teachers.
ReachAcross is looking for TEFL teachers for short term placement of 8 - 12 weeks in duration. Ideal for university students to engage in short term work during college holidays.
Salary: Support from Church/Friends/Family. Small stipend available.
ReachAcross has an opportunity for a single or a couple to take over the running of an English Language school in the southern Red Sea region. It would be best if this could be seen as a long-term calling (two years or more). The opportunities are immense, with hundreds of adult students wanting to learn English. Any applicants should have a TEFL qualification or be prepared to obtain one (five week course in the UK). The applicant would have to have good organisational/management skills, preferably with teaching experience. Basic level spoken French is highly desirable. Apply through the UK ReachAcross office if a UK citizen. Salary: Support from Church/Friends/Family.
