ReachAcross volunteer for UK office
Based in the west Kent area of southeast England, ReachAcross is looking for a volunteer to help with administrative tasks. Ideally suited to someone who is wanting to volunteer one day a week. Computer literacy is essential (word processing and spreadsheets). A good telephone manner and an understanding of Christianity, UK churches and Christian work overseas is desirable. References will be taken from current/previous employers and applicant's church leader.

Our last training day
was a great success, with participants learning the do's and don'ts of
public speaking, tips for speaking in churches, how to prepare and give
multi-media presentations, how to prepare and deliver a Sermon, how to
handle questions, how to effectively run an exhibition stand, and
more! Why not become part of our team of trained speakers, helping to
advertise the work of ReachAcross in all parts of the UK? Application

Latest Opportunities for serving in the Arabian Peninsula and Red Sea Region
ReachAcross has an immediate opening for an administrator to take over the primary administrative duties of a well-established English Language School located on the Arabian Peninsula. Hundreds of adult students use this facility each year and the successful applicant would have daily contact with these local students. This is a busy school with around eight 'western' teaching staff as well as those involved in managing the school.
Salary: Support from Church/Friends/Family.
ReachAcross is looking for two TEFL teachers for short term placement for the end of July until the beginning of September. Ideal for university students to engage in short term work during college holidays.
Salary: Support from Church/Friends/Family. Small stipend available.
ReachAcross also has openings for four TEFL teachers for short term or long term placement from October 2010 onwards. Short term placement would be a minimum of 12 weeks.

ReachAcross has an opportunity for a single or a couple to take over the running of an English Language school in the southern Red Sea region. It would be best if this could be seen as a long-term calling (two years or more). The opportunities are immense, with hundreds of adult students wanting to learn English. Any applicants should have a TEFL qualification or be prepared to obtain one (five week course in the UK). The applicant would have to have good organisational/management skills, preferably with teaching experience. Basic level spoken French is highly desirable.
